Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a flair for creating customised looks that enhance our clients’ confidence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a professional environment, providing a variety of hair and beauty services within a welcoming salon setting. Duties

Deliver a wide range of hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and specialised treatments
Manage front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling and client enquiries
Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
Offer mentoring and guidance to junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the salon environment
Assist with store management tasks as required, ensuring smooth daily operations
Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and personalised advice

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with relevant qualifications recognised within the industry
Skills in barbering are desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanour
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or evenings if required
Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is advantageous
A valid qualification in hairdressing recognised by industry standards
