Company Overview
Aplomb Day Nursery is a family-run nursery providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With nearly two decades of experience, we create a warm, home-from-home setting that encourages curiosity, learning, and holistic development.

Overview
This role is for Maternity Cover or our current employee. Following this 9 month contract there will be an opportunity to join the team permanently. This is a great way to get your foot in the door into a long lasting career.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting young children’s early development, ensuring their safety, well-being, and educational growth. Your energy and dedication will help foster an engaging environment where children can thrive and explore confidently.

Responsibilities

To contribute to a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting.
To work in partnership with parents, ensuring they are well informed of their child’s daily routine, activities participated in and development.
To show positive learning attitude and be a team player. To work as part of a team, support and assist other member of staff when they need help.
To ensure that all policies and procedures are being adhered to by you daily.
To be fully knowledgeable on Safeguarding/ child protection policies and procedures.
To ensure that health and safety precautions are maintained daily.
Attend training courses and meetings.
To maintain that children are stimulated, engaged and happy, if not then solutions must be formulated to work towards this.
To always uphold the standards of the setting.
To adhere to the company ethos and values
Set up and clean up after mealtimes.
Set up activities from the planning.
To ask open ended questions.
Check for dietary requirements and allergies.
Use suncream for children in summertime and ensure they are appropriately dressed as per weather conditions.
To adhere to any duties assigned by room leaders, deputy, and manager.
To complete all core trainings on noodle now.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

London N13 4LY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
