Build the world you want to live in with a career in the infrastructure property sector.
The UK is facing unprecedented challenges around housing, climate change, energy security, transport and the sustainable use of land. As our towns, cities and countryside continue to evolve, there has never been a more exciting time to be involved in shaping the built and natural environment.
We are recruiting for a Land & Measured Building Surveyor to join our Geospatial team. While Northampton remains a key location for the team, we are open to applications from candidates based in London or other Carter Jonas offices across the South and Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of property, infrastructure and development projects, delivering high-quality surveying services for major clients throughout the UK.
You will undertake measured surveys, topographical surveys, laser scanning and data processing across a variety of environments, delivering accurate outputs for a diverse range of projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise whilst working with the latest surveying technologies as part of a growing and collaborative team.
Our Geospatial team captures and digitises the natural and built environment with speed, accuracy and innovation. Using a combination of survey data, terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, drone technology, GIS and BIM workflows, we deliver integrated geospatial solutions that help clients plan, design, manage and develop their assets and projects.
As part of our wider Infrastructure division, we work with major clients including Network Rail, HS2, National Grid and The Crown Estate, supporting projects across the energy, regeneration, telecommunications, utilities, transport, property and asset management sectors.
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days' annual leave, matched pension contributions, life assurance, and flexible benefits such as additional holiday purchase, health cash plans, and a cycle-to-work scheme. We also support flexible and agile working to help you balance your career and personal commitments.
