Full job description

Barista - Monday to Friday

Towcester

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 40 per week

A brand new B&I location, on Silverstone Park, for an innovative technology and research business park for forward-thinking STEM businesses based in Silverstone. As a brand new location numbers catered for can vary but an estimated 200 people daily is expected; both tenants and open to the public. We offer a modern, high end café / restaurant with additional hospitality for tenants. This location operates Monday to Friday and benefits from free parking on site.

Shift timings: 0800 - 1600 (with some flexibility)

We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts in Towcester.

Key responsibilities:

To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
Manage payments and any cash handling.
Daily stock takes of products available

You will have the following skills:

Excellent customer service
An all-round team player
Barista experience essential
Personable, good sense of humour, fun.

Knowledge / competencies:

Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
