About Urbiana: Urbiana @urbianauk is an eleven-year-old; Brick Lane-London based, jewellery brand. We are looking to enter the next stage of our growth, building on our niche brand and customer insights and providing sustainable options in the fashion industry.

Urbiana Brick Lane, Jewellery Boutique Sales Assistant

Key Information

Join our boutique jewellery store on Brick Lane as a Weekend Sales Associate and be an essential part of our team. Your role will involve engaging with customers, showcasing exquisite jewellery pieces, and contributing to the store's vibrant and welcoming atmosphere on weekends. This is a weekend part-time role at 16 hours (2 days) per week. About the role

The main objectives of the role are to:

Share Urbiana’s offerings with the wider community and enhance brand recall
Be a brand ambassador for Urbiana's flagship boutique
Meet growth and sales targets for the business

Main Responsibilities of the Role

Welcome and assist customers with enthusiasm and warmth.
Present our unique jewellery & accessories collections and offer personalized recommendations.
Maintain a tidy and appealing store presentation & visual merchandising.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth store operations.
Support the management team to achieve store targets.
It is a great experience working in a fast-paced and fun environment on Brick Lane that will prepare you for even bigger challenges.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in retail; preferably in the fashion industry. Please note, without a minimum of 1 year retail experience your candidacy will be rejected.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Passion for jewellery and fashion.
Strong communication & sales skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
A positive team player.
Availability to work weekends.
A curiosity to learn and grow in a small team.

We have a generous holiday allowance of 10.5 days (including bank holidays). The start date for the role would ideally be 1st September 2023, with one months’ probation. However, we can be flexible with this date depending on the ideal candidate’s needs.
