Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team. We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie, Grill Chefs and Kitchen Porters

The ideal candidates will have a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary expertise in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the preparation and serving of high-quality meals. Previous experience in catering, restaurant settings, or food preparation is highly desirable. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.

Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and maintaining mise en place
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food handling and preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
Help with stock control by checking inventory levels and notifying supervisors of shortages
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environmentSkills
Proven experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Competence in meal and food preparation techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen as needed
Prior experience in serving or customer service is beneficial but not essential

This role provides an excellent platform for individuals passionate about culinary arts to gain practical experience while contributing to a vibrant dining environment.

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
