A little bit about our site in Bethesda

Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is our flagship Zip World site and the home of Velocity - the

world's fastest zip line! Zip World Penrhyn Quarry has been delivering adventures since

2013 and is set in the dramatic backdrop of Ogwen Valley in Eryri (Snowdonia) National

Park. This site also operates the UK’s only mountain kart experience as well as Aero

Explorer.

Zip Driver PQ

As a driver you will be responsible for transporting customers to the top of the worlds fastest zip wire in one of our signature Red Trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily visual vehicle checks prior to use
Drive a truck of people up to the top zip line
Assist with safety briefs of riders prior to the adventure
Loading and unloading trolleys and equipment
Drive customers on Tour using a pre-written tour briefly to present main points to customers

Essential Requirements and skills:

Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years
Shortlisted applicants will be required to pass a training and assessment session
Have exceptionally high regard for safety
Be diligent and conscientious
Experience working with members of the public and ability to communicate clearly
Customer service
Able to follow strict procedures consistently and repeatedly
Able to communicate and consult with and report to Senior Instructors and General Manager
Able to work alone using own initiative
Participation in staff meetings as required
Flexible with the ability to work shifts between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Sunday
