What you need to know

Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.

Contract type: Permanent.

Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. The hourly rate is £17.57 per hour.

Location: At Commonwealth House. 38 Albion street, Glasgow G1 1LH with excellent public transport links and payable parking nearby.

What you’ll do

As an Admin Officer, you’ll be a part of an established Business Support team, reporting to the Senior Admin Officer. You’ll play an essential role in managing clerical support across your service area and contributing to corporate-wide strategic objectives. This includes providing a wide range of essential administration to the Service Operation teams, driving business improvement, and ensuring processes are efficient and effective.

We’re looking for someone with the ability to:

Lead, motivate and manage a team, deploying resources and respond to operational needs
Allocate duties and responsibility within the team ensuring that all work is concluded to the required standards and timescales
Make real time service decisions in response to operational issues in line with local procedures and establish guidelines
Consolidate and report various sources of relevant information to inform others; interpret data and made recommendations for action to Management
Carry out a wide range of administrative services to support the Senior Admin Officer, Service Areas, Colleagues and Business Partners.
