Lead Drum Tutor
Starting with 12 hours per week

Help Shape the Future of Our Drum Department
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and inspiring Lead Drum Tutor to join Anthem Music School.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced drum teacher who wants more than simply delivering lessons. Alongside teaching, you'll play an important role in developing our drum department, mentoring other drum tutors, maintaining high teaching standards and helping shape the future of drum tuition at Anthem.
You'll begin with approximately 12 guaranteed teaching hours per week, with clear opportunities to increase both your teaching timetable and leadership responsibilities as the department grows.
Unlike many music teaching positions, this is a fully employed role offering paid holiday, company sick pay, regular guaranteed hours and a stable weekly income.
Because we teach predominantly in small groups, your timetable is considerably more secure than traditional one-to-one teaching. Individual student absences don't reduce your earnings, allowing you to enjoy dependable weekly income and excellent job security.
Current Working Hours
Initial timetable: Approximately 12 hours per week
As student numbers continue to grow, additional weekday and Saturday teaching hours are expected to become available.
Pay & Progression
Our tutors begin on £18.00 per hour, with opportunities to progress up to £25.00 per hour through experience, teaching quality, leadership responsibilities and contribution to the wider business.
Applicants with significant teaching experience, leadership experience or a strong background in children's music education may be considered at a higher starting rate.
We're passionate about recognising commitment, rewarding excellence and creating genuine long-term careers within Anthem.

As Lead Drum Tutor, you'll spend the majority of your week delivering engaging drum lessons to children aged 5+, while also taking ownership of the ongoing development of our drum department.
Alongside your own teaching timetable, you'll support other drum tutors, help maintain consistent teaching standards, contribute towards curriculum improvements and ensure every drum student receives an outstanding learning experience.
This role would suit someone who enjoys helping other teachers grow just as much as inspiring students.
