Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative individual who is detail-oriented and data-driven, with a true passion for digital marketing and content creation, and a strong ambition to build a successful career in children’s publishing.

Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive will support and deliver online marketing activity across multiple channels. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career and who brings 2–3 years’ relevant experience, ideally working within a marketing, publishing or related field.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as Digital Marketing Executive include:

Managing and scheduling content across social media platforms, ensuring channels are engaging and up to date
Creating and editing marketing content, including copywriting and proofreading for digital campaigns
Updating and maintaining website content via Shopify
Supporting and executing email marketing campaigns (e.g. newsletters, promotional sends)
Assisting with SEO tasks to improve website visibility and performance
Monitoring and analysing campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics
Producing regular reports and insights, identifying opportunities for improvement
Supporting digital advertising campaigns where required
Assisting with general marketing administration and coordination tasks
Collaborating with internal teams to support wider marketing initiatives

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Required:

2–3 years’ experience within a marketing, publishing or related role
Proven copywriting, proofreading and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Great skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
A genuine passion for marketing and social media
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Google Analytics, or Mailchimp
Experience with digital media advertising
