Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to specified recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Follow HACCP protocols and maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations at all times.
Assist in the organisation and management of food production processes, including portion control and presentation.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including sanitising surfaces and equipment regularly.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is required.
Pack crates as per Cafe order.

Requirements

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment or relevant food production role is desirable.
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards.
Mechanical knowledge of kitchen equipment is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an engaging environment for aspiring culinary professionals committed to excellence in food production while adhering to rigorous safety standards.

Pay: £8.25-£14.50 per hour
