Role: Guest & Owner Coordinator (Part-time, office-based in Penryn)
Rowes Retreats is a Cornwall-based holiday letting and property management company. We look after beautiful homes and the people who stay in them and we care a lot about doing things properly: warm communication, high standards, and a team that feels connected.
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated and proactive person to join our small team as a key point of contact for both guests and property owners, with admin support that includes onboarding new properties.
The basics
- Part-time: 3 days per week
- Office-based: Penryn, Cornwall (this role is not remote)
- Days can be flexible for the right person
- Start: as soon as we find the right fit
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the calm, upbeat voice people speak to and the person who keeps things moving behind the scenes.
Guest + owner communication
- Responding to guest and owner messages (phone/text/email) in a warm, clear way
- Helping guests with questions before and during their stay (and solving little issues quickly)
- Supporting owners with updates, queries, and general reassurance
- Coordinating with our internal team (housekeeping/ops) so guest experience stays 5-star
- Keeping notes and details organised so nothing gets missed
- Spotting problems before they become problems (proactive, not reactive)
Owner admin + property onboarding support
- Supporting the onboarding of new properties as they join Rowes Retreats
- Collecting and organising key property details (access info, house rules, inventories, local recommendations, etc.)
- Helping keep onboarding tasks moving by tracking what’s outstanding and following up with owners/suppliers/internal team
- Making sure information is accurate and properly documented so handovers are smooth
What we’re looking for
We’re less bothered about fancy titles and more about attitude and reliability.
You’re likely someone who:
- genuinely loves customer service and making people feel looked after
- is upbeat, friendly and calm under pressure
- is proactive — you don’t wait to be asked, you spot what needs doing
- communicates clearly and kindly (even when someone is stressed)
- is organised and can juggle multiple conversations/tasks without dropping the ball
- enjoys being part of a small team and staying connected
- has good attention to detail (especially when handling property info and onboarding)
Bonus (not essential):
- experience in hospitality, property, travel, or customer support
- confidence with systems/computers (we’ll train you, but you need to be comfortable learning)
