Job Summary

cleaning to be carried out between the hours of 10-1pm

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner (part-time) to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a tidy, safe, and welcoming workspace. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on professionalism and efficiency. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces across office areas.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately throughout the premises.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently.
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work discreetly and respect confidentiality within the office environment.
Reliable with a professional attitude and good time management skills.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is desirable.
