About The Role

We have an opportunity at our Retirement Village for a role as Supervisor / Administrator. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the General Manager. To lead the team to ensure the highest standard of service is provided to each Resident in a warm, caring atmosphere and to provide an on-call emergency service to Residents in Nazareth Retirement Village. To ensure that Nazareth Care Mission Alive core values are incorporated into all aspects of service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Compiling staff rotas, dealing with leave requests and arranging cover when necessary
- Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets
- Briefing teams on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news
- Assisting with recruiting, training and helping staff reach their professional development

- Devising work schedules and implementing deadlines
- Ensuring that quality standards are upheld
- Conducting performance reviews and inductions
- Collate staff hours and documents for submission to the Payroll Department
- Till & card machine reconciliation
- Processing supplier invoices
- Processing sales invoices
- Taking payments
- Assisting with ordering of stock
- Organising, advertising and participating in events and functions
- Complaint handling
- Working alongside service staff as and when required.
- To supervise all staff in Managers absence.

General Duties

- To be flexible about working hours.
- To be approachable and supportive to staff and managers.
- To attend staff meetings when appropriate and to be available for one-to-one sessions as

- To attend appropriate training and development sessions as agreed with the General
To maintain confidentiality at all times.
To carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the General Manager.

To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down by the Health and Safety at Work Act.
