Full job description

Salary: £13 Per Hour

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and presentable Office Administrator / Relief Driver to join our small, friendly team.

This is primarily an office-based role, carrying out general administration and customer service duties, with occasional cover for our company driver when they are on holiday or absent.

No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided, including training on our Sage accounting software.

You will have regular contact with customers both over the telephone and face-to-face, so a friendly, professional and approachable manner is essential.

Main Responsibilities

Creating invoices and delivery notes
Answering telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
Serving customers in our shop
Receiving and processing payments
Setting up new customer accounts
General office administration and paperwork
Assisting with warehouse duties when required
Heavy lifting of up to 25kg may be required
Providing occasional cover for our company driver during holidays or absence

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, reliable and hardworking
Presentable and confident dealing with customers
Organised and able to work as part of a small team
Comfortable using a computer
Willing to learn new systems and processes
Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to provide occasional driving cover

Previous office administration or Sage experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours

Permanent, full-time position

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
No weekend work
