Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our successful and expanding team. Working on projects across Northumberland. The role may require occasional overnight stays and a full UK driving license is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections prior to painting or decorating
Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes with precision and care
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within specified deadlines
Use specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively
Protect surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures during work
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred
Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks including lifting and working at heights if necessary
Reliable, punctual, with a professional attitude towards work commitments
