Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to foster a motivated and efficient team
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control effectively
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to promote customer satisfaction
Organise staff meetings and training sessions to uphold service excellence and culinary standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, menu planning, and special event catering
Maintain a welcoming environment that reflects the restaurant’s brand values

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
Background in culinary arts or food production is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Experience in hospitality management, including kitchen experience or hotel background, is advantageous
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple operational aspects simultaneously
Knowledge of barista experience or bar management is a plus
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in service delivery and quality assurance
