PART-TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT | £12.71 PER HOUR | PORTHCAWL

Danygraig Care Home, Porthcawl (CF36 5SR)
£12.71 per hour
16 Hours Per Week
4 x 4-hour shifts over 7 days
Three-week rolling rota, including 1 in 3 weekends

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team.

About the Role

Working alongside our Chef and catering team, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious, home-cooked meals while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with food preparation and meal service
Supporting the Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Washing and storing crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment
Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
Following Food Hygiene, Infection Control and Health & Safety procedures

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, hospitality or food service environment is preferred. Full training will be provided for the right person.

Applicants should be able to travel reliably to Danygraig Care Home for all scheduled shifts.

All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
