Are you kind, reliable and passionate about making a difference in peoples lives? We are a small family run care home looking for compassionate and dedicated day care staff to join our friendly team.

At our Home we pride ourselves in creating a warm, supportive environment where our residents feel safe, valued and respected, where our team are treated as family too.

We provide high-quality support to residents in a care home setting. The role involves assisting individuals with their daily routines, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing around the clock. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team environment. Applicants should be committed to delivering person-centred care and possess excellent communication skills.

Duties

Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
Supporting residents with medication management in accordance with care plans
Engaging residents in social activities and providing companionship
Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff
Maintaining accurate records of care provided
Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the care environment
Assisting with meal preparation as required
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment.
Qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3 is required
Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work as part of a small team.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
