FoxTech is an established UK cybersecurity and managed services company working with mid-sized organisations, typically 100–1,000 employees.
Our clients have often outgrown traditional MSP support. Technology and cybersecurity are now too important to manage casually, but internal teams do not always have the time, tools or specialist expertise to handle everything themselves.
Our core offerings include Penetration Testing, Managed SOC, Managed IT Services and Professional Services, delivered by a team of genuinely world-class experts.
We have strong services, credible clients, sector knowledge and a clear point of view in a noisy cybersecurity market.
What we do not yet have is the fully built commercial engine to scale that opportunity to its maximum potential.
That is the role.
About the role
We are looking for a commercially sharp growth leader who can help FoxTech move from founder-led growth towards a repeatable route to market.
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role. It is not simply about managing an existing sales machine, and it is not a traditional closing role.
Our sales are consultative, complex and trust-based. In many cases, our technical experts will continue to lead later-stage sales conversations, especially in the short term.
Your focus will be on building the strategy, structure, pipeline and operating rhythm that support scalable growth. That means identifying the right markets, opening the right doors, creating high-quality opportunities and building the repeatable process that helps those opportunities convert.
You will work closely with the leadership team to design and build the commercial engine that turns FoxTech’s expertise, services and market credibility into predictable new business growth.

What you’ll be responsible for:
Commercial strategy and market focus
- Defining priority markets, ideal customer profiles, buyer groups and routes to market
- Identifying target accounts and creating senior-level new business conversations
- Building a clear commercial growth strategy for priority sectors
Pipeline creation and new business development
- Building industry relationships, partnerships and proactive outreach to open doors
- Creating repeatable routes to market through outbound, events, referrals, partnerships and sector-led activity
- Leading and improving SDR activity, including targeting, outreach, qualification and follow-up
Sales process and opportunity progression
- Building the structure that moves opportunities from first conversation through to sales conversations, proposal and close
- Creating clear qualification criteria, follow-up rhythms and handover points into founder-led or technical sales conversations
- Helping ensure the right opportunities progress in the right way, with the right level of technical support
Proposition and messaging
- Working with technical and delivery teams to shape credible, customer-ready propositions
- Sharpening FoxTech’s messaging so complex cybersecurity services are clear, relevant and commercially compelling
- Turning market insight and customer pain points into practical campaigns, propositions and sales conversations
Pipeline management and reporting
- Creating better visibility of pipeline, conversion, forecast quality and revenue outcomes
- Using tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo or similar to support targeting, outreach, pipeline management and reporting
- Building an activity-to-revenue view that helps FoxTech understand what is working and where to focus
The focus is simple: create more of the right conversations, convert them into qualified opportunities, and help FoxTech win new customers.
What success looks like
Success means building FoxTech a repeatable lead generation and sales model that is not dependent on founder activity alone.
This role will be judged by commercial outcomes, not activity levels.
About you
You are commercially driven, proactive and comfortable creating opportunity rather than waiting for it to arrive.
You may currently be operating as a CRO, Commercial Director, Head of Sales, Head of Revenue, Head of Growth, senior BDM or senior new business leader.
You are likely to have at least 10 years’ commercial experience and a strong track record of selling into mid-sized organisations. You do not need to be a technical specialist, but you must be able to understand complex IT and cybersecurity services and explain their value clearly to customers.
You should bring:
- Proven experience selling IT, cybersecurity, managed services or technology-led services into mid-sized organisations
- A strong track record of winning new business, not just managing existing accounts
- The ability to open senior-level conversations through relationships, insight and proactive outreach
- Strong understanding of pipeline creation, qualification, sales process and conversion
- Experience managing SDR, outbound or business development activity
- Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo or similar
- Strong commercial judgement and revenue focus
- Excellent communication, storytelling and proposition-shaping ability
- Confidence working closely with founders and senior leadership
- A hands-on approach and strong ownership mindset

This role will suit someone who is a hunter, not an order-taker.
You will be commercially sharp, resilient, resourceful and confident opening senior-level conversations. You will be comfortable building from the ground up and motivated by ownership, impact and growth.
This is not a marketing role. It is not a role for someone who wants to simply manage an existing team. And it is not a role where everything is already in place.

Salary for this role is £50,000 base, with uncapped OTE of £70,000+
Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
