SIG Roofing, we’re proud to support roofers across the UK with quality products and reliable service. With over 100 branches nationwide from Inverness to Plymouth and more than 40 years of experience, we’ve built up a wealth of knowledge along the way. We are looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator to be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for our customersbuilding relationships, processing orders, and helping the branch meet its sales targets.

What’s the role?

As a Sales Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to deliver excellent service and drive branch performance. You’ll handle customer enquiries, manage accounts, and promote our full range of products both over the phone and face-to-face.

What you’ll be doing:

Engaging with customers on the phone, via email, and at the trade counter.
Accurately processing orders and providing clear, competitive quotes.
Maximising every sales opportunity, including up-selling and cross-selling.
Proactively contacting lapsed or prospective customers.
Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
Collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries.
Actively contributing to a safe, positive working environment.

What you’ll bring:

Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (merchanting or construction industry experience is a bonus).
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Good IT and numeracy skills, with attention to detail in processing orders.
Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
