Dragonfly Foods is an award‑winning UK manufacturer of 100% organic, plant‑based products, hand‑crafted in Devon using authentic Japanese tofu‑making techniques. Since 1984, we’ve grown from a small two‑person operation into a respected producer supplying major wholesalers and retailers. We pride ourselves on using all‑natural, organic ingredients, free from additives, preservatives, GMOs, and artificial agents.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our team at our modern BRC‑accredited manufacturing facility in Willand.

Role Purpose

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacture of our products, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and cleanliness. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with strong development and progression opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Set up workstations and prepare equipment for production runs
Operate machinery safely and efficiently in line with standard operating procedures
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately
Work effectively as part of the production line team
Complete production paperwork accurately where required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards

About You

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on role
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work
Able to follow instructions and processes with good attention to detail
Positive, team‑focused approach

Shift & Pay

Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
Overtime: Enhanced overtime rates available
Holiday: 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
Retention Bonus: £300 payable after 3 months of successful employment (subject to terms)

Full training will be provided on site. Additional development opportunities include:

Fire Warden
Food Safety and HACCP
