Full job description

We Are Covert is on the hunt for a Creative Content Editor to help us share the amazing work we make with the world.

This is a part-time, flexible role and we’re open to shaping the working pattern around the right person. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our content output without needing to be full-time, bringing consistency, creativity and energy to how Covert shows up online.

Covert is a proudly independent, people-first creative studio. In a nutshell , we love making great work and we love doing it with great people. Great work in question being but not limited to CG, VFX, animation, sound & colour.

The work is already created - your job is presenting it.

We're looking for someone who can look at a finished piece of work and instinctively know how to turn it into content that stops the scroll. Someone who understands social platforms inside out, can write copy that sounds like us, and has the organisational backbone to manage the full content pipeline from asset to post.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks creatively, and cares about doing things properly. Someone who can work independently, meet deadlines, and bring real energy to growing the Covert brand online.

Above everything, we're looking for another lovely human.

The Role

Take finished studio work , CG, VFX, animation, colour and rework it into compelling, platform-ready social content
Own and manage the full content pipeline: chasing producers for assets, credits and edits, ingesting everything and turning it into polished, well-timed posts
Manage and maintain the content calendar across all platforms
Write copy and captions that are on-brand, engaging and unmistakably Covert
Use After Effects, Canva or similar tools to adapt and reformat content for different platforms and formats
Monitor and analyse performance - review hook rate, engagement, reach, CTR — and use those insights to continuously improve what we put out
Maintain and grow SEO performance across the website
Keep the website updated and looking sharp
Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes and what's actually working in the social space right now
Build and grow our community , engaging with followers, responding thoughtfully and fostering real connection
Ensure everything we publish is consistent with our brand standards and tone of voice

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for social media and a deep understanding of what makes content work across platforms
A creative eye.You can look at a piece of work and know how to frame, cut or present it for maximum impact
Hands-on experience with video editing and content creation tools ( After Effects, Canva, Premiere or similar)
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone without losing the voice
Solid understanding of performance metrics and how to act on them
Excellent organisational and project management skills. You're the kind of person who keeps things moving without being chased
Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment
Strong communication skills. You'll be collaborating closely with producers, creative directors and the wider team
Previous experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing
