SmartaTutoring is one of the UK’s fastest-growing tutoring services — and we’re expanding our internal team with a high-performing Setter to handle a consistent flow of inbound leads from parents.
This isn’t cold calling. No chasing. No spam DMs.
Just real conversations with people who’ve asked for help — and need someone clear, calm, and confident to guide them forward.
SmartaTutoring
We’ll skip the fluff. Here’s exactly what the role looks like:
- Remote Role – work from a quiet, focused, professional space (no distractions)
- 15+ Leads/Day – warm inbound leads, partially qualified and in need of support
- Working Hours – you will be calling anywhere from 830am to 8pm on weekdays and/or evenings (UK time)(set hours will be discussed in the hiring process)
- Call Length – 10–15 minutes, guided by proven frameworks
- Inbound Only – no cold calls, no prospecting, no awkward chasing
- Full Onboarding – structured training, frameworks, and 1:1 support
- Easy and natural conversations — Simply follow our frameworks. These people want to hear from us!
- Start Date – Training begins as soon as you are hired (we are looking to start with a setter asap)
You’ll Thrive In This Role If:
- You communicate clearly, confidently, and genuinely care about people
- You’re great at staying calm under pressure and listening actively
- You’re structured and organised — you enjoy working through a clear daily flow
- You like short, high-frequency conversations that follow a simple goal
- You’ve worked in sales, customer service, appointment setting, or outreach before
- You’re excited about the idea of moving into a high-performance closer role in future
- You’re available during the day (late morning to early evening), weekdays + some weekend availability
This Role Probably Isn’t For You If:
- You don’t have a quiet, professional setup for calls
- You are looking for a full-time role
- You’re looking for a high-pressure or aggressive sales environment
- You struggle to follow structured systems or manage time independently
- You dislike fast-paced conversations or repeatable daily tasks
- You need to be micromanaged to stay productive
- You’re not comfortable using tools like Zoom, Slack, or CRMs
Compensation & Progression
- Call Volume: 15+ leads/day, weekdays and weekends
- OTE: £2,500/month (this is our baseline and earning if minimum KPIs are hit)
- Growth Path: Top performers can earn over £5000 per month

What a Typical Day Might Look Like:
- 8:30am – Log in, check Slack and CRM, prep for the day’s leads
- 9am - Start making calls to new leads who have come in overnight
- 11:00am – Call leads who already booked in to confirm bookings
- 11:30am–1:00pm – 5 more calls back-to-back — 4 get booked in for consultations
- 1:00pm – CRM updates, KPIs logged, light follow-ups
- 2:30pm–4:30pm – 6 more discovery chats — including a dad who says “this is exactly what I’ve been looking for”
- 6:00pm – Final few calls of the day + wrap-up
