Full job description

ADI now have the opportunity for a Logistics Operations Manager to join our team based from our International Head Office in Chadderton, Oldham (3 days office / 2 home).

This key role within International Supply Chain will lead day‑to‑day logistics operations, drive carrier performance, and deliver continuous improvement across a fast-paced global environment.

JOB DUTIES:

Operations Management

Manage daily logistics and freight operations across international markets
Monitor shipment visibility, handle exceptions, and resolve escalations

Carrier & Supplier Management

Manage relationships with carriers and logistics providers
Lead performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure KPI delivery

Financial Control

Oversee freight spend, reporting, and cost analysis
Audit invoices, resolve discrepancies, and manage freight claims

Reporting & Performance

Analyse carrier data to identify improvements
Maintain reporting tools and dashboards (Excel / Power BI)

Projects & Improvement

Lead logistics improvement and transformation projects
Support ERP and carrier integration initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE:

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight operations
Carrier management and performance experience
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

WE VALUE:

Power BI or similar BI tools
Knowledge of international freight, customs, and compliance
Experience with supplier performance management
Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
ERP and logistics integration experience
