Job Description
Hours are-40 hours per week. To be considered for this role you must be available between 7.00am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Ashfield Nursery are seeking a nurturing wizard with the magical ability to turn tears into giggles and chaos into calm! Having eyes in the back of your head is of the utmost importance. The ability to sing in tune is NOT necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune, in front of a crowd of tiny humans is essential You must have the ability to read a story book upside down, with at least five interruptions per page And finally, last but not least a smile that will make every child's face light up, each and every day!

Requirements of a Qualified Nursery Nurse: -
· Experience working with 6 weeks-5 years.
· Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare/Education in compliance with the government checker as a full recognized qualification
· Good safeguarding knowledge and certificate preferable
· Pediatric First aid qualified.
· Good knowledge of the EYFS
· Good teamwork with practitioners and to work in partnership with our parents.
Responsibilities of a Nursery Nurse: -
· Key practitioner responsible for a key group of children
· Work with a wider team of practitioners to effectively follow daily routines.
· Provide the children with a safe, secure, and home from home environment.
· Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team
· Support children to grow and learn.
· To follow all policies and procedures including a commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
