Cake Artist – Fondant & Customised Cakes

Location: 403 Upper Richmond Road, London, SW14 7NX, United Kingdom
Salary: £13.00–£13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: In Person

7th Heaven is one of the largest bakery brands with over 400+ outlets and is expanding rapidly across the UK. We are looking for a talented and creative Cake Artist to join our growing team.

If you have a passion for creating beautiful customised cakes and enjoy working in a professional bakery environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Please apply only if you have hands-on experience creating customised 3D cakes using fondant or icing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and decorate customised cakes using fondant, icing, and buttercream.
Create high-quality 3D cakes, including character, vehicle, wedding, birthday, and theme-based designs.
Prepare celebration cakes, desserts, pastries, cupcakes, and other bakery products.
Ensure excellent frosting, finishing, and presentation of all products.
Manage customer orders and complete them within agreed timelines.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation.
Follow company recipes, production methods, and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with the bakery team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Requirements:

Experience working in a bakery, cake shop, or similar environment.
Proven experience creating customised fondant or icing cakes.
Strong cake decorating, frosting, and finishing skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
