We are a plastic and manufacturing plant with state of the art processing. We are looking for a dynamic and determined candidate for an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Purchasing Administrator to join our team.

The job of purchasing assistant involves working both inside and outside the office environment, sourcing waste plastics, paper and metal from potential customers and maximizing sales of the Company’s products. This will be by researching, calling and emailing followed by visits to outside establishments. You will be required to keep records of all work undertaken on behalf of the Company. Plan your own diary; make regular calls and emails to suppliers.

Applicants should have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills as the job requires technical descriptions in order to engage with customers. Competency in computer use is vital for this position as well as the ability to use initiative and think quickly in order to optimize orders and enquiries.

You will also be required to make contacts with businesses, retailers, warehouses, local councils and waste/skip collectors, waste management companies, brokers and trades with a view to purchasing recyclable plastic, paper and metal waste.

You will need to manage your diary and organize visits to potential suppliers, follow up make quotes and secure material.
