About Toolrite Ltd

Toolrite Ltd is a specialist engineering company supporting the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries with high-quality precision tooling solutions. Based in Essex, we are known for our reliability, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering excellence to our customers.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and driven individual to join our team and play a key role in supporting our purchasing and logistics operations.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:15
Friday: 08:00 – 12:00

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while developing long-term relationships
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality with suppliers
Liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve procurement and technical challenges
Coordinate collections and deliveries between suppliers and customers
Ensure full traceability of all purchasing activities in line with company requirements
Work closely with the Operations Director to coordinate delivery schedules and meet project deadlines
Plan and manage international shipments, including liaison with transport and customs agencies
Support general office administration activities
Assist with maintaining compliance documentation in line with company and industry standards

Requirements

Degree (2:1 or above preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a negotiation-focused role
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Desirable

Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with international shipping and customs processes
