Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within our premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational and communication skills to contribute to a professional and friendly atmosphere. The position is paid and suitable for applicants who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across various areas, including offices, communal spaces, and private rooms, ensuring high standards of hygiene and tidiness.
Organise cleaning schedules and manage supplies efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist with laundry duties and the organisation of linen or other materials as required.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning products and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within hospitality, management, or domestic services is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general computer literacy.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Knowledge of management principles related to organising cleaning schedules and supplies is advantageous. This position offers an engaging work environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued.
