Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our organisation’s tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to tax regulations while optimising financial strategies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in financial services and accounting software to contribute to our company's growth and stability.

Duties
Identify and implement strategic tax planning opportunities for both corporate and personal tax clients.

Advise on complex matters including capital gains tax, inheritance tax planning, and corporate restructuring

Oversee the delivery of HMRC tax compliance services, ensuring all filings are accurate and submitted within statutory deadlines.

Manage and mitigate tax risks through robust review processes.

Act as the primary point of contact for HMRC inquiries, handling investigations and technical correspondence professionally.

Manage a balanced portfolio consisting of both Personal Tax (Self-Assessment, Wealth Management) and Corporation Tax (Group relief, R&D tax credits, and capital allowances).

Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing regular updates on legislative changes that may impact their financial position.

Review the work of junior tax staff and assistants, providing mentorship and technical guidance to foster their professional growth.

Contribute to the firm’s business development by identifying potential service enhancements for existing clients.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

CTA Qualified (Chartered Tax Advisor) is highly desirable.

Proven experience in a dual-aspect role covering both Personal and Corporation Tax.

Extensive experience in HMRC tax compliance and managing regulatory relationships.

Demonstrable track record of identifying and executing Tax Planning initiatives.

Direct experience dealing with High Net Worth (HNW) clients and understanding their unique requirements

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
