WeBuyAnyPhone.com is a tech recycling service that buys, refurbishes, and recycles pre-owned mobile phones, tablets, and wearable tech. We're seeking a Customer Experience Advisor who shares our passion for sustainability, embraces technology, and is driven to deliver great customer experiences.
Location: Whiteley, near Solent Hotel
Salary: Up to £28,000 per year (DOE)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Reports to: Customer Experience Manager

You'll help to resolve complex issues with empathy and professionalism, and identify opportunities to improve our processes and overall customer experience. Your work will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships and improving acceptance and retention outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing customer enquiries across phone, email, live chat, and social media.
- Taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Handling revised offer conversations with empathy and confidence.
- Retaining customers through effective objection handling.
- Explaining grading decisions clearly and fairly.
- Identifying customer journey improvements.
- Working with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Analysing customer feedback and trends.
- Maintaining high service and retention standards.
- Supporting the development of the retention function.
What You’ll Bring
- A Minimum of 1 years' experience working within a customer service, retention, or contact centre role; handling complaints and escalations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Objection handling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience within e-commerce, telecoms, or consumer electronics.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Knowledge of marketplace platforms such as eBay and Amazon.
- Experience driving service improvements.
