Full job description

Culverwells is a well-established, family-run business based in Robertsbridge. We have been supplying and servicing Subaru cars and Isuzu pick-ups for nearly 40 years, and have proudly delivered a premium customer experience for over 90 years.

We are currently seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for all service customers, providing a warm and professional welcome.
Handling customer enquiries efficiently, both in person and over the telephone.
Accurately booking in vehicles for service, MOT, or repair work, ensuring all information is recorded correctly.
Liaising with the workshop team to ensure updates are provided on vehicle progress.
Explaining maintenance work, additional repairs, costs, and timescales to customers in a clear and transparent manner.
Proactively up-selling products and services such as service plans, extended warranties, and accessories.
Processing invoices, payments, and warranty documentation with accuracy.
Managing aftersales administration, including warranty claims and follow-up calls.
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring a seamless customer journey.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor (or in a similar customer service role within the motor trade).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident in working under pressure and handling busy service schedules.
Organised with excellent attention to detail and IT skills.
A proactive attitude with the ability to up-sell and meet targets.

Competitive basic salary up to £30,000 with realistic OTE of £34,000+.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 5.30pm, Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm
