Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team working for a well followed Chef at a very popular out of town venue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a focus on food preparation and production. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and supervising kitchen staff.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and menus.
Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
Maintain inventory levels of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and best practices in food preparation.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant setting.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods of food preparation.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
