Full job description

Skilled Carpenter Wanted – Self-Employed (Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week)

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated self-employed carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).

You’ll be working on a variety of residential projects, from full house renovations to high-quality finish carpentry. We need someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and consistently delivers a high standard of work.

Responsibilities include:

Full kitchen installations
Hanging internal and external doors
Fitting skirting boards and architraves
Stud wall construction
Flooring installation (laminate, engineered wood, etc.)
Fencing and external carpentry
Boxing in pipework, gas meters, and electrical installations
General first and second fix carpentry
Assisting with complete house renovations
Carrying out a wide range of general carpentry tasks as required

Requirements:

Proven experience in all aspects of carpentry
Ability to complete work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
Own tools and transport (transport can be provided from our unit based in aberbargoed)
Self-employed CIS payments
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to work independently and solve problems on site
