Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitality Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all customers enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous restaurant or culinary experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and an opportunity to develop a wide range of skills including food safety, food preparation, and guest engagement.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards
Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes meet quality and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Handle guest enquiries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues efficiently
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
