About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Customer Service Manager who can take full ownership of our customer operations function in Liverpool. This is not a routine management role—you will define service standards, lead performance strategy, and shape how our teams deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will act as the bridge between leadership, frontline teams, and customers, ensuring every interaction meets a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Operations Leadership:
Oversee all customer service activity, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and professionalism across the team.

Performance & KPI Management:
Track, analyse, and improve key performance indicators such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, coach, and support customer service staff. Conduct performance reviews and build a strong, accountable team culture.

Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement scalable improvements to enhance service delivery.

Escalation Management:
Act as the final point of escalation for complex customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Stakeholder Communication:
Work closely with internal teams and leadership to align customer service operations with business goals.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
5+ years in customer service, contact centre, or customer operations roles, including at least 2+ years in a senior or managerial position.

Leadership Ability:
Proven experience managing teams, improving performance, and driving accountability in a structured environment.

Operational Mindset:
Strong understanding of KPIs, service delivery frameworks, and process optimisation.

Communication Skills:
Clear, confident communicator who can handle escalations and present performance insights to leadership.

Problem-Solving Approach:
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make practical, data-informed decisions.

Mindset:
You are structured, proactive, and focused on building systems that scale—not just managing day-to-day tasks.

Pay: £47,125.88-£65,542.21 per year
