Day Shift

7 am - 7 pm

7 am - 1 pm

1 pm - 7 pm

Care Assistant – NVQ Level 3 Required

Are you a compassionate and dependable care professional who wants to make a genuine difference every day?

We are looking for an experienced Care Assistant with an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care to join our friendly and dedicated team.

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, comfort and independence. You will provide person-centred care, build positive relationships and help create a safe, welcoming and homely environment.

Your Responsibilities

Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
Follow individual care plans and ensure each resident receives care tailored to their needs and preferences.
Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
Encourage residents to take part in activities and maintain social interaction.
Record care accurately and document support as it is provided.
Report any changes in a resident’s health, behaviour or wellbeing to the Senior Care Assistant or Manager.
Communicate professionally with residents, relatives, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
Support residents to attend appointments or social activities when required.
Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice and privacy at all times.

What We Are Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification.
Previous experience working in a care home or similar care environment.
A kind, patient and compassionate approach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence following and contributing to individual care plans.
Good attention to detail when completing care records.
Basic IT skills.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
A genuine desire to improve the lives of the people you support.
A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
