Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our busy automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres quickly on a variety of vehicles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in vehicle maintenance and a strong work ethic to develop their skills within a professional environment. Candidates must be physically fit, reliable, and eager to contribute to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Duties

Remove and replace tyres using hand tools with precision and care
Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures, ensuring safety standards are met
Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation
Perform tyre repairs such as patching or plugging as required
Assist with wheel alignment and rotation tasks when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during tyre servicing procedures

Experience

Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance is preffered
Mechanical knowledge is desirable to understand vehicle systems and tyre-related components
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment is beneficial
Driving license would be ideal
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
