Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Tyre Fitter at ROADSMART TYRES LIMITED, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to hit the road. This energetic position involves inspecting, removing, and fitting tyres with precision and care. You'll work in a fast-paced environment that values technical skill, customer service excellence, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance. Duties

Remove and replace tyres efficiently using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper fitment and safety standards.
Conduct thorough inspections of tyres for damage, wear, and punctures; advise customers on repairs or replacements.
Use mechanical knowledge to assist with wheel balancing, alignment checks, and basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
Operate heavy lifting equipment or manually lift tyres safely to prevent injury during handling.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining tyre options, maintenance procedures, and safety tips clearly.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to keep the workshop running smoothly.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge related to vehicle tyres, wheels, or automotive maintenance.
Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy tyres and wheels.
Previous experience in a tyre fitting or automotive workshop environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures will be advantageous.
