Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious PTS Telehandler with suspended load experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate a specialized telehandler equipped with suspended load capabilities, ensuring the precise and secure movement of materials on-site. Your expertise will help maintain smooth workflow operations while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and driving skills make a tangible impact every day.

Responsibilities

Operate the PTS (Powered Telescopic Support) telehandler safely, focusing on handling suspended loads with precision and care
Transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies across the site efficiently and securely
Conduct pre-operation inspections of the telehandler, ensuring all safety features are functional and equipment is well-maintained
Collaborate with team members to coordinate load movements, ensuring stability and safety during lifting and transportation
Follow all safety guidelines related to suspended loads, including proper rigging and load securing procedures
Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs to keep equipment in optimal working condition
Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, inspections, and any incidents or anomalies

Skills

Proven experience operating PTS telehandlers or similar heavy machinery with suspended load capabilities
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks
Valid commercial driving license with experience in operating heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings
Familiarity with excavator operation is a plus, enhancing versatility on-site tasks
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and safety coordination
Ability to follow detailed safety procedures related to suspended loads and heavy machinery operation
Proactive attitude with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
