About Us

The Priory Hotel is an elegant and historic riverside hotel in Wareham, Dorset, known for its peaceful setting, refined dining, and warm hospitality. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and overlooking the River Frome, it offers a relaxing escape with comfortable accommodation and a reputation for high-quality food and attentive service.

Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Server to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring guests receive outstanding service from arrival to departure. This is a full-time seasonal position for the summer period, with a preferred contract running until 1st November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver attentive, discreet, and personalised service to every guest
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
Serve meals and beverages in a professional manner
Ensure tables are clean, set, and presentable at all times
Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations consistently
Work closely with kitchen and bar teams
Process payments and operate tills where required
Maintain knowledge of menus, specials, and promotions

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred (training can be provided)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work calmly and effectively in a refined, fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
