Job Overview

Social Media Manager (Male Fertility)

Self-Employed Contractor | 1–2 Days per Week | Hybrid/Remote

Fertility Solutions Ltd is one of the UK's leading independent male fertility clinics, dedicated exclusively to improving the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility.

For over 13 years, we have been at the forefront of evidence-based male fertility testing, supporting thousands of patients each year and working closely with leading fertility consultants, urologists, embryologists and IVF clinics across the UK.

We are now looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to take ownership of our Instagram and TikTok channels and help grow our digital presence while maintaining the highest standards of medical accuracy, professionalism and patient trust.

This is not an entry-level social media role.

We are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of managing successful social media accounts within healthcare, ideally fertility or reproductive medicine.

About the role

Working directly with our Clinical Director, you will develop and execute a social media strategy that increases engagement, educates patients and healthcare professionals, and establishes Fertility Solutions as the UK's leading voice in male fertility.

The role is offered on a self-employed contractor basis, initially 1-2 days per week, with flexibility around working hours.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of our Instagram and TikTok accounts
Develop and implement a strategic content calendar
Create engaging short-form video content and educational posts
Produce high-quality reels and social media campaigns
Repurpose clinical content into accessible patient education
Monitor analytics and recommend improvements based on performance
Keep up to date with platform trends whilst maintaining professional standards
Work closely with our clinical team to ensure all content is evidence-based and medically accurate
Help grow our online community and increase brand awareness
Maintain a consistent, premium brand identity across all platforms

Essential requirements

Applicants must have:

A proven record of successfully managing Instagram and TikTok accounts for an established healthcare organisation
Experience working within fertility, reproductive medicine, women's health, men's health or another regulated medical speciality
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
Experience creating high-performing reels and short-form video content
Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms
Ability to interpret analytics and adapt strategy accordingly
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently

Highly desirable

Previous experience working with a recognised fertility clinic, IVF clinic, medical society or healthcare organisation
Knowledge of male fertility, reproductive medicine or IVF
Experience working alongside clinicians and consultants
Photography and video editing skills
Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative software

You are commercially minded but understand that healthcare marketing requires integrity, compassion and accuracy.

You enjoy translating complex medical information into engaging, trustworthy content that genuinely helps patients.

You are proactive, creative and confident working independently, while collaborating closely with senior clinicians.
