Family Law - (Senior) Associate Solicitor or FCILEx (Full time, or part time 4 days per week)

Farnfields Solicitors have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE to join our established and growing family law team at our Warminster, Wiltshire offices, on a full-time or part time permanent basis (minimum 4 days per week) with the option of hybrid working (a minimum of 2 days in the office).

What is the role?

This is a key role, delivering high quality legal advice, building strong client relationships and contributing to the development of the department.

Managing a full caseload consisting of:

· Divorce and dissolution proceedings

· Financial remedy matters

· Private law children (all areas)

· Pre and post nuptial agreements

· Separation agreements

· Cohabitation agreements

· Non-molestation and occupation order proceedings

· Provide strategic, practical and client focused advice from initial instruction through to conclusion

· Drafting pleadings, agreements and complex court documents

· Conducting advocacy where appropriate

· Negotiating settlements and using NCDR

· Maintaining high levels of compliance, file management and client care

· Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, counsel and other professionals

· Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required

· Contributing to the development of the family team

Who you are?

You will be an experienced Family Lawyer with comprehensive experience across all areas of private family law, managing a varied and complex caseload with minimal supervision.

A qualified solicitor or legal executive (authorised person) with at least 5 years PQE and have extensive experience across all areas. You will have proven ability to manage a complex caseload and sensitive cases independently with strong technical knowledge of family law and procedure. You will have excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills and be a confident communicator with a compassionate client focused and solutions focused approach. You will be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ideally you will be a Member of resolution Accredited mediator or collaborative lawyer but not essential. Supervisory experienceis advantageous.
