Full job description

Newton Farm Shop are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join us on a part time basis for 2 days a week, working in our award winning farm shop.

We are a family run business with many local products and meat that comes directly from our farm. The successful applicant will enjoy working in a family environment with the opportunity to learn more about local businesses and farming.

As an assistant in our farm shop you will have a passion for food and have a 'customer first' mentality, you will have a smart appearance and a friendly manner.

We are looking to recruit someone to work Fridays and Sundays predominantly so successful candidates will need to be available these days.

Duties will include:

Greeting customers

Assisting with any queries

Restocking shelves

Maintaining high levels of cleanliness within the shop

Handling card/cash transactions

Being able to work independently and as part of the team

You will have exceptional customer service skills

Candidates need to aware that the job requires some manual handling and long periods of time on your feet.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
