What you will be doing
To grow and develop Data Centre and Networking Solutions as a core business line by promoting these services to both existing and new Ricoh customers. This involves supporting and enabling the sales teams to position infrastructure solutions effectively, acting as a key subject matter expert, and helping to generate, progress, and close opportunities. The ultimate goal is to achieve individual sales targets while contributing to the overall divisional objectives.
- Responsible for increasing Line of Business penetration into Current Client base and assisting our New Business team with Pursuit activities.
- To proactively build positive relationships across Ricoh’s Account Managers and New Business teams to enable and promote Data Center & Networking solutions and to be recognised as the Line of Business specialist to support in customer meetings to help create and grow opportunities
- To be responsible for building commercial awareness of Data Center & Networking solutions aligned with Ricoh sales team to ensure all opportunities are maximised and competitive advantage is maintained.
- Hold Sales Enablement sessions with Sales teams in Ricoh to assist with Line of Business Growth
- To be accountable for articulating the Data Center & Networking solutions offering to new and existing customers whilst understanding and identifying the customers key business challenges that would open-up opportunities.
- To build effective relationships within the relevant Ricoh teams to ensure project implementation is delivered efficiently and effectively.
- To develop a pipeline of opportunity to allow the potential of over-achievement of targets and ensure accurate forecasting on monthly basis using Ricoh’s CRM system to ensure business activity can be monitored.
- Work with Marketing and Vendor teams to ensure appropriate & effective marketing activity.
You will ideally have
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets, supported by high level technical understanding of Data Center and Networking solutions. Demonstrated success in solution-led sales is essential, ideally with extensive experience within the Data Center and Networking industry.
Skills Required:
- First class sales and relationship building (internal and external)
- Self-motivated and pro-active approach to opportunity creation
- Able to deliver engaging presentations
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of data centre and/or networking solutions and capable of articulating the business benefits
- Good understanding of technology driven organisational transformation
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent organisation skills, high attention to detail, and ability to prioritise
- Always demonstrate commitment and flexibility
- Intermediate level in all MS Office Packages.
