Skilled Fabricator / Welder (TIG & MIG)

Washington, Tyne & Wear
£19.00–£20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
40 Hours per Week + Overtime Available
Permanent Position – Immediate Start

About Us

Morfabrication is a growing, family-run metal fabrication company based in Washington. We specialise in bespoke metalwork, delivering high-quality, functional, and decorative products across a range of industries. Due to increased workload and continued company growth, we are looking to expand our team.

The Role

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently from technical drawings and producing high-quality finished work to exacting standards.

A trade test will form part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
Fabricating mild steel round tube joints (TIG essential)
Working from engineering drawings independently
Finishing stainless steel to brushed and polished standards
General fabrication duties within a workshop environment

Desirable (Not Essential) Skills

Stainless steel fabrication experience
Sheet metal fabrication
Press brake operation
Milling machine experience
On-site installation experience
CSCS card (or equivalent)

Training can be provided for the right candidate in certain areas.

Pay & Benefits

£19.00–£20.00 per hour (depending on experience and skillset)
£25.00 per hour overtime rate
£30.00 per hour weekend rate (Saturday & Sunday)
40-hour permanent contract
Opportunities for regular overtime
Stable, long-term position within a growing company

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
