Self-Employed Painter & Decorator

Job Type: Self-Employed / Subcontractor
Location: East Sussex, Kent & surrounding areas
Pay: Competitive day rate (based on experience)

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, Hewitt Sussex Homes Ltd is looking for experienced self-employed Painters & Decorators to join our expanding team.

We specialise in high-quality exterior restoration, decorating and property refurbishment, working on everything from period homes and timber restoration to premium residential properties. We take pride in producing exceptional finishes and are looking for tradespeople who share the same attention to detail and passion for quality workmanship.

The Role

You will be working on a variety of projects, including:

Exterior and interior painting & decorating
Timber restoration and repairs (cladding , gabels , timber windows etc)
Surface preparation, sanding, filling and priming
Specialist exterior coating systems
General property maintenance and refurbishment

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in painting and decorating
A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred
Own tools and PPE
CIS registered (preferred)
