Location: Reading (Office-based)

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 base + bonus (OTE £45,000 - £55,000)

Hours:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 18:00
Saturdays 1 in 4: 9.30am - 16:00

About the Role

MotorEasy is seeking an experienced Sales Development Coach / Sales Manager to support the ongoing development of our Sales and Telemarketing teams.

This role is focused on improving advisor performance through structured coaching, call monitoring, training delivery, and quality assurance. Working closely with Sales Managers, you'll identify development opportunities, deliver impactful coaching sessions, and help maximise conversion rates, customer outcomes, and compliance standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who is passionate about developing people and creating high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Development

Deliver structured one-to-one coaching sessions with Telemarketing Advisors.
Create personalised development plans to improve conversion, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
Support junior sales executives with progression to sales.
Deliver refresher training sessions on products, sales techniques, objection handling, and compliance.
Facilitate workshops, role plays, and group coaching sessions.

Call Quality & Performance Monitoring

Monitor live and recorded calls across sales teams.
Conduct regular quality assessments and provide actionable feedback.
Identify common coaching themes and recommend improvements.
Ensure advisors follow sales processes, scripts, and compliance requirements.
Track coaching effectiveness and improvements in performance.

Sales Support

Work closely with Sales Managers and Team Leaders to improve team performance.
Assist in identifying skill gaps and training needs.
Support performance improvement plans where required.
Provide floor support and guidance during busy sales periods.
Share best practice examples and success stories across teams.

Reporting & Analysis

Analyse call quality scores, conversion rates, and sales KPIs.
Produce regular coaching and quality reports for management.
Identify trends impacting performance and recommend solutions.
Measure ROI of training initiatives and coaching programmes.

Continuous Improvement

Help develop sales scripts, coaching materials, and training content.
Support the implementation of new products, processes, and campaigns.
Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a sales coaching, training, QA, or team leader role.
Strong background in telesales, contact centre, or outbound sales environments.
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
Ability to analyse performance data and identify development opportunities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Passion for helping people achieve their potential.
Organised, proactive, and commercially focused.

Desirable Experience

Experience delivering sales training programmes.
Call quality monitoring and QA experience.
Knowledge of FCA-regulated sales environments.
Automotive, warranty, insurance, or financial services experience.
Experience using dialler systems and CRM platforms.
