Location: Wolverhampton & Walsall (either/or/both)
Pay: £20.00 - £25.00 per hour
Hours: Weekend role (3.5 hours per class per week)

Broad Horizon Tuition is one of the region's leading 11+ tuition providers. We are looking for enthusiastic, Qualified Level 3 and Level 4 Teaching Assistants who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

This is an opportunity to work with motivated students aged 7-11 in small classes, delivering a proven curriculum without the workload often associated with classroom teaching.

The role focuses on preparing students for the 11+ examination. All we require from applicants is experience supporting or teaching Key Stage 2 Maths and English within UK classrooms. We provide full training on the 11+ syllabus and all course materials, so previous 11+ tutoring experience is not required.

We're Looking For

Level 3 or Level 4 Teaching Assistants
Experience working with children in a UK educational setting
Experience supporting or teaching Key Stage 2 Maths and English

A willingness to learn and develop as a classroom leader

Please note: We do not accept applications from A-Level students or university students.

Responsibilities

Teach small groups of Year 3, 4 and 5 students preparing for the 11+ examination
Deliver our structured, pre-prepared curriculum
Provide feedback to parents regarding student progress
Monitor and record attendance, behaviour and performance
Support students academically and build confidence
Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Safeguard and support students throughout their time at the centre
Contribute ideas to improve student outcomes and centre performance

No previous 11+ tutoring experience is required.

Our fully paid training programme will provide everything you need to confidently deliver the course, with ongoing support from experienced members of our teaching team.
